About Splashathon

Splashathon is a highlight event in the Water Babies calendar! The bi-annual Splashathon charity event raises money for the baby loss charity, Tommy’s and the Water Babies foundation, Children’s Alliance.

Water Babies customers and employees rally together to raise money by completing challenges in their swimming lessons, wearing fancy dress costumes. Throughout their fundraising journey, customers can earn special prizes to acknowledge their amazing work at raising funds which will change lives.

Since we started Splashathon back in 2006, we’ve raised over £5 million, which has funded research centres and miscarriage research.

This Splashathon all funds raised will support both Tommy’s, and the Water Babies Foundation, Children’s Alliance; which helps to create better starts and brighter futures for every child. Together, these charities can directly impact families to ensure their health and well-being is heard and supported.

Our fundraising goal for 2025 is to raise £650,000* in our Water Babies Splashathon classes! If every little water baby raises just £20, we could hit achieve this amazing goal.

This is a super ambitious target for us to achieve, but we know by raising awareness and fundraising, we’ll be able to smash this goal – together.
