Ahoy there me hearties! It’s time to Splash Across the Seven Seas for Splashathon. From 23 June - 6 July we’re calling on all you swashbucklers and scallywags to get out your pirate, mermaid and sea creature costumes as we board the SS Swimvincible on a quest to find pieces of eight, parrots and buried treasure!

You’ll take on your challenge dressed in your full fancy dress outfit so it will be an extra exciting and fun swim! We’re asking all our Water Babies to raise as much sponsorship as they can to help create a better, brighter future for all children and babies.

Why fundraise?

Our goal is to raise £650,000 for Tommy's and the Children's Alliance.

We’re thinking big but remember your donations don’t have to be! If every Water Babies swimmer raised just £20, together we’ll reach our goal. Every single donation of whatever size will make a difference.

The money you raise could fund a Tommy’s research centre for 8 months, investigating the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

And help the Children’s Alliance fund key projects to make sure every child has safe and enjoyable access to water, fostering their physical development and well-being.

About Tommy's

Half the adults in the UK have lost a baby or know someone who has.

Tommy’s is the leading pregnancy charity that exists to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.

We work across the whole pregnancy journey – translating our research breakthroughs into new tests and treatments in clinical care, changing national maternity policy and providing expert information and support.

Our network of expert scientists, doctors and midwives work in hospitals and labs

carrying out research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

We’re here to support you through every stage of your pregnancy, from conception to after the birth of your baby, no matter what your experiences have been. We have a team of 7 in-house midwives who provide our information and support service for everyone who needs it, during pregnancy or after a pregnancy loss.

About The Children's Alliance

Water-based activities offer vital benefits for disadvantaged children and those with disabilities, promoting physical health, emotional well-being, and social inclusion. Sadly, many of these children do not have the opportunity to discover these benefits.

Children's Alliance, the Water Babies charitable foundation believe that all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, should have access to water-based activities promoting equality, empowerment, and healthier futures.

We are dedicated to improving access to water for all children by providing inclusive swimming lessons, access to water-based activities and funding projects that promote water confidence and play through community initiatives.

By working with like-minded organisations and actively fundraising to support key projects, Children's Alliance provides outreach into our communities and effects real change to the health and wellbeing of children and young people in the UK.
